LEAN ESSENTIALS
This L.E.A.N. Essentials program is designed to be facilitated as a one-time, two-hour session where parents of children ages 3 -12 years old learn simple strategies to enhance their children’s health.
You will learn about the 4 pillars of health: Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude and Nutrition and the session focuses on the following topics:
- TRAFFIC LIGHT EATING
- BRAINY BREAKFAST
- THE RIGHT FAT DIET
- POWERING UP WITH PROTEIN AND PLAY
- "NO's": THE 3 INGREDIENTS TO AVOID
These topics are similar to the L.E.A.N. Start Program, however the time allotted to each topic is shorter and we will go less deep. I will also give you ideas for quick & easy healthy snacks for when your time is limited.

LEAN START
L.E.A.N. Start is a six-hour program. It can be spread out over three- to six-weeks depending on your schedule. Parents of children ages 3 – 12 years old can decide if they would like to meet for one or two hours each week.
In the L.E.A.N. Start Program you will learn about the 4 pillars of health: Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude and Nutrition.
The session covers the the following 8 topics:
- TRAFFIC LIGHT EATING
- HEALTHY CARBOHYDRATES
- BRAINY BREAKFAST
- THE RIGHT FAT DIET
- POWERING UP WITH PROTEIN AND PLAY
- "NO's": THE 3 INGREDIENTS TO AVOID
- PORTION CONTROL
- WATER - THE BEST DRINK
I will also give you ideas for quick & easy healthy snacks for when your time is limited.

PRIME TIME HEALTH
Prime-Time Health is a scientifically proven plan for healthy aging that I teach through four interactive sessions. The sessions are each an hour and a half in length and include hands-on activities, workbooks, healthy snacks and recipes.
Session 1: Make Your Own Medicine® - Learn about the keys and the science behind your body’s internal pharmacy. You can help your body produce these custom-made medicines and be in charge of your health. © 2020 Dr. Sears Wellness Institute
Session 2: Make Health Your Hobby - Understand how the body works and focus on making good choices for great health every day.
Session 3: Move Waste From Your Waist - Waist size is a strong indicator of our overall health! Find out how to remove toxic waste and eliminate the health-harming chemicals that are produced by belly fat.
Session 4: Live Without Pain and Inflammation - Inflammation literally means the body’s immune system is on fire. Learn the primary causes, and ways to reduce inflammation throughout the body

INDIVIDUAL COACHING SESSION
One-on-one coaching sessions are for you if you prefer a more personal setting or if you have to stay flexible due to your schedule. The individual sessions will get you more personal, bio-individual support and we can either schedule video conference calls or in person meetings.
During the individual sessions, we will be able to examine your bio-individual nutrition needs and focus on your personal wellness goals. We will work together to create individualized solutions that will support your genuine, lasting lifestyle change.
It’s more than just learning the science behind nutrition and exercise - I Our sessions will help you to discover your “Why” for healthy living. (What motivates you to live a happier and healthier life?)

SMART SHOPPING TRIP
During a Smart Shopping Trip, I will accompany you to your local grocery store and spend about 1-2 hours helping you select healthier foods based on the principle of Traffic Light Eating.
A Smart Shopping Trip typically begins with an introduction to Traffic Light Eating and label reading, during which time we will also discuss your current grocery shopping habits (i.e., how often, for how many people and what ages, any budget concerns, and any food allergies or sensitivities).
Then I will join you in the store and help you shop the perimeter and practice skills like label reading.
Finally, after checking out we will wrap-up, addressing any unanswered questions that you still have and discussing possible next steps on your journey to optimal health.

PANTRY MAKEOVER
A Pantry Makeover is the perfect way for me to help you get personalized information about how you can apply Traffic Light Eating to improve your family’s health.
During this 1 - 1.5 hour session, you will first learn the concept of Traffic Light Eating and how to decipher food labels, which will help you easily and quickly determine the best foods to choose for you and your family.
Then we will go through the items in your pantry, as well as fridge and freezer, filling out a Traffic Light Shopping List and going over the Dirty Dozen and Healthy Substitutions Lists.
We will wrap-up the session by going over how to complete a shopping list as well as introducing you to a Brand Recommendations handout and setting a goal, so you are prepared for the next time you go the grocery store!
